Jelte van Lente: On this blog I post the work i make. I post it in chronological order, in the order in which it was made. When you enter the world of my blog, you automatically enter upon the most recent work I made, the more you scroll down, the further you go into my past. So this blog, like my work, functions like a diary. I go through life looking around me, thinking and feeling, loving and hating. Making drawings, taking photographs, painting, writing. A silly drawing is in no way better or worse to me than a complex painting. A quick snapshot no better or worse than a well balanced photograph. A drawing can be a thought, a photograph can be a joke, a painting can be a dream. It’s all equally important to me.
